Privacy Policy
The short version: Myotect does not collect, transmit, or share any of your data. Everything stays on your device.
1. Data Storage
All data you enter into Myotect is stored locally on your device using Apple's on-device database technology. This includes your profile information, training programmes, workout history, body weight measurements, exercise logs, readiness check-in responses, and app preferences. None of this data leaves your device at any time.
2. Data Collection
Myotect does not collect any data. There are no analytics or usage tracking services, no crash reporting, no advertising identifiers, no location data collection, no health data integration with Apple Health, and no cookies or web tracking of any kind.
3. No Accounts or Cloud Sync
Myotect does not require or offer account creation. There is no cloud sync, no server-side storage, and no login. Your data exists solely on the device where you installed the app.
4. No Third-Party Services
Myotect does not integrate with any third-party services, SDKs, or APIs. There are no external dependencies that process your data.
5. Data Export
You can export your training data as a CSV or JSON file from within the app (Settings > Data Management). These files are generated locally on your device and shared only through the standard iOS share sheet, which you control.
6. Data Deletion
You can delete all your data at any time from within the app (Settings > Data Management > Reset All Data). Uninstalling the app also permanently deletes all stored data, as there is no cloud backup.
7. Notifications
Myotect may request permission to send local notifications for rest timer alerts during workouts. These notifications are generated entirely on your device and do not involve any external server. You can disable notifications at any time in iOS Settings.
8. Children's Privacy
Myotect is not directed at children under the age of 14. The app requires users to be at least 14 years old during onboarding setup.
9. Changes to This Policy
If this privacy policy is updated, the changes will be reflected on this page with an updated date.
