Terms of Use
1. Acceptance of Terms
By downloading, installing, or using Myotect (the "App"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Use. If you do not agree to these terms, do not use the App.
2. Licence Grant
Myotect grants you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable licence to use the App on any Apple device that you own or control, subject to the Apple Media Services Terms and Conditions.
3. One-Time Purchase
Myotect is available as a one-time purchase. There are no subscriptions, recurring fees, or in-app purchases. All features are included in the initial purchase price.
4. Not Medical Advice
Myotect is a fitness training tool, not a medical device. The App provides exercise programming recommendations based on published exercise science research. These recommendations are general in nature and are not a substitute for professional medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment. Always consult a qualified healthcare provider before beginning any exercise programme. You use the App and follow its recommendations at your own risk.
5. Assumption of Risk
Resistance training involves inherent risks including muscular strain, joint injury, and cardiovascular events. By using the App, you acknowledge these risks and assume full responsibility for your physical safety during training.
6. Accuracy of Information
While Myotect strives to base all recommendations on peer-reviewed research, exercise science is an evolving field. The App does not guarantee the accuracy, completeness, or current validity of any recommendation.
7. User Data and Responsibility
All data entered into the App is stored locally on your device. You are solely responsible for the accuracy of the data you enter. The quality of the App's recommendations depends on the accuracy of your input.
8. Intellectual Property
The App, including its code, design, content, exercise database, and scientific references, is the intellectual property of Myotect and is protected by copyright law.
9. Updates
Myotect may release updates to improve functionality, fix issues, or add features. Continued use of the App after an update constitutes acceptance of any revised terms.
10. Termination
This licence is effective until terminated. Your rights will terminate automatically if you fail to comply with any of its terms.
11. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Myotect and its developers shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising out of or in connection with your use of the App.
12. Governing Law
These terms shall be governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
13. Apple EULA
These terms are in addition to Apple's standard End User Licence Agreement for Licensed Applications.
